A jam game made in 48h for Ludum Dare 44.
Balance between acquiring power ups and keeping your health up on this MegaMan-style 16 bit game.
Controls:
Arrow Keys - Move [UP - Jump]
E - Enter Shop
ENTER - Turn Power Up ON/OFF
X - Shoot
R - Restart from last checkpoint (in case you get stuck)
Power Ups:
Wall Jump
Shoot
Double Jump
Hook (Not ready)

The art style is super cute! Would have looked just right on the GBA.
I don’t have a windows or apple computer to play, do you know by any chance if the game runs with wine or proton?
i don't know if it's worth the effort, since it was a jam game. i don't even know if this version is playable. But i'll see if i can build a linux release this week and let you know!
I've just uploaded a linux release!
But you'll need to have mono installed, though. Just type on terminal, from the folder where you unzip the file:
mono "Robo Charge.exe"
